The Origin of the Universe

The universe can come into existence if there are truly random events. That is because given enough time (we’ll discuss time shortly) a random event can lead to any outcome including the creation of a universe. Therefore if there are no other ways to create universes we know there are truly random events, because we know our universe exists. I am therefore proposing that there is no other way to create a universe.

Why then not an infinity of different universes with different physical laws? In brief two reasons eiℼ + 1 = 0, and life. Any universe in which eiℼ + 1 is not zero is unstable. Life and time and the universe are intimately related as we shall see. How the universe was created is however not the important question. The important question is why.
